What a day, started off this morning alarm went off and nearly frightened me half to death. Am usually awake before alarm but poked my nose out from under duvet and thought i dont wanna get up. Plus it was still dark curse this hour thingy! Anyhoo washed and dried hair as i do every morning and straightened it as layers sit kinky, but this morning was in rush and i burnt my forehead on my straightners! Am now sporting a lovely big red burn blister on my forehead! At least fringe sort of covers it. Got one of girls to pop blister and now its very sore.
At work today they decided to have a mock disaster thingy, apparently it was a train crash, sure there were no trains today! They decided we were to busy to join in, joy of joys.
Decided to actually work very hard today as we were busy. The plaster room board was full and the names are in order of when the patients come and you just take next. Anyhoo next name was not a real patient, the name was put on by a certain dr! I never realised this until i actually called the name and the patients in the waiting room started giggling at me, the fake name was Wayne Kerr! I am so gulliable.
All day i was asked how mr kerr was.
Hmmm that will teach them.
Hubby got a new job today, he is going to work as a chef, which is what he does but at the mo is working in a petrol station, heres hoping it cheers him up a bit.

Sometimes i hate being female. I have raging PMT, a thumping sore head, have turned into a big chocolate eating muncher, am a total bitch from hell and wanna cry!

kids are so cute. i went into church this morning and my friends little girl asked me if i got breakfast in bed. I told her i wasnt a mummy and she said oh right but did allan (hubby)not make me it, and i told her i wasnt his mummy. She looked disappointed and said that she had something for me and she had made me a card, with a picture of her and me on it. i thought aww kids are so cute at times.

Been a while since i posted anything so here goes. Pretty much had an eventful if somewhat busy week. Work has been incredibly busy and have felt shattered. To overcome the tiredness have forced myself to go to the gym this week. The thought of going makes me groan, but when i am there it's not too bad.
Altho have out done all my good work, have the most raging PMT dont get it often but when i do its bad. Am like the most chocolate munching cow from hell, nothing will do but chocolate.
Oh well today is mother's day, so will go and see her, and who knows may even eat her choccies. hehehe
Dieting again on monday

Argh am in a total panic, have an assignment due 11th may for my course. Not even started it yet!!! Only picked a subject today, am gonna do it on total hip replacement and wound infections. Sounds easy enough but am having problems locating resources, oh well think i may have to visit uni library. Hopefully someone i know will remember to give me their references that they promised me.
Work is a total mad house at the mo. Went back yesterday and u would have thought that we were closed for a month not just a day! Plus its all big heavy legs and stuff at the mo. Suppose I will have wonderful arm muscles after hauling off all those plasters.
I hate monday and tuesday, oh well its wed tomorrow, then my lovely course on thurs (was meant to have assignment started for then!).
Thats me last min as usual, suppose i may go and do some work, nah Holby City is on now

Well yesterday started of fairly uneventful. Was off work as it was a stat day for St. Paddys day. Decided to do a spot of shopping, treated myself to a new digital camera.
Anyhoo later on went out with sis and her friend. Started off in pub was bored outta my skull. Sis acted like a primadonna but we eventually made it to belfast. Dunno how like, i was driving have no sense of direction and their directions was a bit shady to say the least. Finally got into the Welly Park and got a couple of drinks. The queue was very long. Sister friend met us and then we went for a boogie. Was coming off the dance floor when this guy, lets just call him G asked me to dance. That was fine, then he decided to snog me (yuck). Told him i was married but my sister wasnt, so introduced him and her. Just call me Cilla. Anyway the same with Cilla i wont rush out and buy my hat, as when i looked around she had another bloke.
On the way home she texted G so i may still need to buy my hat afterall!!!

had a lovely day off. Met a friend for coffee and ended up chatting for ages. It was lovely, was in a coffee shop that i havent been in before. It was really nice.
Headed to the gym like i said and sweated it out. I got out all my anger at that time.
I have literally just done very little today. Just put a wash on. At work tomorrow then its St Paddy's day on fri, oh the luck of the irish!

Woo hoo today is a sneaky day off. Because i had a study day last week, this is my annual leave. Never told hubby, got up and pretended to get ready for work. hehehe. Am just gonna go to gym and do some stuff round house, may meet a friend for coffee.

Well i aM Now back at work. Could do with another week off like. Had a plesant surprise still owed an annual leave day and am off on Wed huurah!!!! not telling anyone think i will please myself seeing as i spent my week off running around. Am also off on fri for St. Paddy's day woo hoo a day off for free!
Work wasnt too bad today, it eased me in gently. Still got our copious amounts of silly phone calls that made us giggle.
Still living after hubbys cooking yesterday, even let him make dinner again tonight (well it was only fresh pasta and sauce). Am now heading for my weekly bath at the swimming pool. Go once a week wether i need it or not- joke. I do go swimming tho!

What a lazt day i have had today. Got up late for me shock horror nearly 9am! abd had some brekkie. Got ready and went to church. My car nearly wouldnt start this morning, think its like me and doesnt like the rain. Got the car started and pulled out right from a relativly minor road onto a more major one, because my engine was damp, my car decided it would be funny to stop. There was cars coming in both directions and my whole life flashed infront of my eyes! Managed to get car going again and am now living to tell tale.
Have done squat all today. Came home and washed the few dishes that were in sink and settled down and watched the OC how i love that programme (also getting into One Tree Hill).
Had a bath and fake tan, am now gonna veg out and spend rest of in jammy.
Hubby is making dinner and i may just survive to go to work again tomorrow.

My goodness its very chilly today.
Today i did as little as possible. Well it started with stripping my bed and getting sheets washed and hung out on line. Hubby decided that it would be amusing if while i was stripping the bed for him to stay in it. Made him get up and he was not best pleased and that started the day with him in crap form.
He was in really huffy form yesterday. My grandparents came round for their tea, and he totally showed me up with his behaviour. He started cursing at me and then refused to give me a hand. I was so embarrased, why do i bother and put up with him?
Got my garden started, planted some lovely little primoroses in very pretty colours. Finally i will have a nice garden. I even bought some bulbs which i will plant tomorrow, when they come up it will be nice. I bought some seeds and am gonna have a shot at growing them. not very greenfingered so will keep my fingers crossed.
Well here goes!

well it was that time of the week again when I had my course. I really really hate it. The tutor is so biased all she talks about is 'this is how we do it in the royal'. What about the Ulster we take all the crap referrals from the Royal. They are the 2 big hospitals in Belfast as well as the City. Argh I hate it, it makes the Ulster seem like a second class hospital eventhough we have one of the busiest fracture clinics in the provance. Ok rant over.
Am wetting my pants, going to dentist tomorrow and I am so nervous. At the mo i am still going will see what tomorrow brings. If i do manage to go think i will treat myself to a new angel, not had one in a while.
Cant believe that is my week off nearly over where has it gone to. Well spent all day yesterday in Derry and it was lovely. Had a dead nice day went with mum and wee sis, who had a uni interview. She has her queens on on monday so fingers and legs crossed for her.

Woo hoo start of week off!
Been very busy today. Got up early as usual as I never seem to be able to lie in. Went and got paint for my bathroom. Woke hubby early and said to him that I was gonna get him the paint for the bathroom. Heard a groan but ignored it! So of i went and bought my paint, pure brilliant white. And when I came home with it he then painted under duress, my bathroom now looks nice tho.
While he was doing bathroom I thought I better get off my butt and do something. So after tidying house i decided it was about time i tackeled the mountain that was my ironing. i hated ironing before but now i really really hate it, but at least its all done that it until i start washing again.
Got my wardrobe all nice and sorted out so now i can see what i have. My goodness i have lots of clothes and shoes. hehehehe
Think i may relax a little tomorrow but then again knowing me i will find something to do.
hmmm the shops are calling me but what to buy?????? could do with more shoes

Well have been a bit quiet for a couple of days. What a week I have had, started on sun night, thought i could smell gas. That was fine got the gas company out and they switched off the entire gas supply, which meant I had no heating. the gas leak was coming from my cooker.
On monday got the guy out that fitted cooker and he said fault was with cooker, but he would isolate cooker so I could get my heating back on hurrah!!!.
Got the cooker guy out from company I bought cooker off and they said it was the pipes into the cooker. The long and short of the story is that I still have no cooker. Am still waiting on guy coming to fix pipe. Been living on micro meals and toasties! JUst want my cooker fixed.
It has been so cold, cant get any heat into my body. Went to church last night as it was woman of prayer day service. The service was lovely, there was a woman preacher from dublin and her sermon was very apt and modern. The theme of the sevice was sign of the times and it really reflected that. Was a good night except again it was very cold.
Argh lets hope today I get my cooker fixed. Am off this coming week and am gonna get bathroom painted.
